Want to Get Involved In Netball?

West Devon have various different ways in which you can get involved in Netball. Whether you’ve never played, not played since school or have played recently we have options to suit all.

Back To Netball

Back to Netball sessions are running across England and provide women of all ages with a gentle re-introduction to the sport. Ran by passionate and enthusiastic coaches, sessions cover the basics of the game including passing, footwork and shooting. Sessions finish with a friendly game to put the skills you have learnt into practice. Check out the video below to see what you can expect.

You don’t need any special kit, just clothes that you feel comfortable exercising in and trainers ideally that lace up. Make sure you bring some water and that you’ve had a snack a couple of hours before hand so you’ve got plenty of energy. See below for sessions:

Walking Netball

Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. The game has been designed so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level.

From those who have dropped out of the sport they love due to serious injury, to those who believed they had hung up their netball trainers many years ago, it really is for everyone. See below for sessions:

Netball Now

Netball Now is a simple, straight forward way to play netball. Its not a coached session, its not a competition led by rules, regulations or scores recorded it is simply a session that you turn up at, pay a small fee and play a game of netball! If you’re currently playing and want to play a bit more as it beats the gym; or if you’re looking for a flexible, non-committed way to play netball then Netball Now is for you! See below for sessions:

Mixed Netball

Mixed Netball is a recreational form of the game which is made up of both male and female participants. All basic Netball rules apply and qualified coaches are on hand to help out where needed. No experience is necessary from males.

Bee Netball

England Netball is delighted to announce the launch of the new Bee Netball programme designed exclusively for U11s. Bee Netball, which enables children to participate in netball, make friends and develop other key skills, such as friendship, inclusion, fair play and playing together, has been designed to combat these issues.
